Chris Peterson joins MotherLode as new systems engineer
June 6th, 2006 –MotherLode North America has hired Chris Peterson as a systems engineer to support the company’s software development efforts, according to Ed Zabinski, MotherLode’s president and CEO.
“We are excited to bring Chris on board for several reasons,” Zabinski explained. “First, Chris joins us as we launch new software products nationally. Secondly, Chris’ technology skills and experience with systems analysis will be invaluable as we grow. Finally,Chris and his wife, Kristi, and their children are eager to return to Grand Rapids, and we’re glad to be doing our part to help bring new jobs and young families to this area.”
Chris Peterson comes to MotherLode North America with experience in manufacturing and technology support. The Petersons moved to Grand Rapids from Loveland, Ohio, where Chris was employed as a lab technologist for International Paper. Chris’ previous work ex-perience includes two years as a teaching assistant at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and seven years as field service/process specialist for Metso Automation, a period during which Chris worked at the UPM/Blandin paper mill.
Chris holds two master’s degrees in System Analysis and Physics from Miami University and two bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Applied Science. Chris’ wife, Kristi, is a Grand Rapids native.
